INTRODUCTION My name is Dan Goldsmith.  I was born and raised in Chatham, Ontario.  I graduated from Prairie Bible Institute, Three Hills, Alberta and Columbia International University, Columbia, South Carolina.  I took additional studies at Detroit Bible Institute , Detroit, Michigan and Briercrest College and Seminary, Caronport, Saskatchewan.  Following a pastoral internship (1957-1958) at North Shores (Conservative) Baptist Church , St. Clair Shores, Michigan, I moved to Lac La Biche, Alberta and began my pastoral ministry in the fall of 1958.  As I have sometimes said, "Lac La Biche was not the end of the world, but I could see it from there."  I married my wife, Leona, in 1959 and we have three children, five grandsons, one grand-daughter by marriage who has given us our first great grandson.
